Redevelopment works at 28 The Chase in Battersea, comprising removal of internal load-bearing walls and construction of a double-storey rear extension.
Our Solution
The structural design included:
- Steel beams and columns to support the structure following wall removals
- Concrete foundations designed for the extension and new structural elements
- Stability frames providing lateral stability to the altered structure
- Full coordination of new and existing structural elements
Outcome
The structural design successfully delivered the spatial reconfiguration and additional floor area required by the client, with all works completed to Building Regulations standards.
